R&B music is what expresses one's emotions in many ways. This type of music talks about heartbreak, romance, passion, pleasure and other emotions that humans feel. The powerful effect of R&B in the 90's came from the mouths of well-known groups such as Jodeci and TLC. However, those less known than these superstar groups also brought a new meaning to R&B such as Xscape, who sang about one's secret love affair, while H-Town sang about pleasing a woman's body in a sexual desire that she yearned to have. R&B, or rhythm and blues, isn't the same today like it was back then, because today's music lacks that certain substance that the 90's had. There will never be another musical era that can compare to this decade.
