When it comes down to an R&B group who helped define the 90's, Hi-Five was a very rare group who could sing, dance and had many hit songs. I loved these five young men, especially lead singer, Tony Thompson. He had the voice that made any and everyone want to listen. My favorite two songs by them are "I Like The Way (The Kissing Game)" and "She's Playing Hard to Get". They were a quintet who I loved, especially for these two songs.

The type of music they performed was in various genres. Their trademark consisted of Kiddie-pop, New Jack vocals and hip-hop flavored tracks. They were the type of group who represented for other youthful groups today. Their talent and influence showcased through their music.
