In my opinion, this is Hi-Five's best song ever. I remember growing up as a 90's baby listening to this joint when it came on the radio. As an adult now, I still hear it played on the radio. This is a jam that would get anyone up on their feet to dance, whether they have rhythm or not. This track alone proved that they were a force of true R&B artists during the decade.

"I Like The Way (The Kissing Game)" is the perfect example of representing the early 90's music era. The song contained New Jack Swing, which was also the year of the New Jack music movement. The song went on to spend two weeks at #1 on the U.S. R&B chart and one week at #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified the song gold in May 1991.
