In my opinion, the title tells us all we need to know before we even listen to the track. "Understanding" in R&B is usually going to be based around relationships dealing with miscommunication, trust or the usual drama that truly puts a relationship to the test. This classic was released in 1996 with the subject matter of understanding each other in a relationship so things can go smoothly. It was so amazing that it reached #8 on the Billboard charts.
