Besides my favorite song, "Too Close", by Next, "Wifey" is another hit that I like to hear by them. It was the first single off their second album, Welcome 2 Nextasy, that also dominated music charts. It peaked at #1 on the U.S. R&B chart where it stayed for a week. It also did well on the U.S. Pop Chart where it peaked at #7 after reaching the top forty. The song was so amazing that it won ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Award for "Award-Winning R&B/Hip-Hop Songs".

Now, the music video is something that I'm sure women will love. The men are basically seen treating their women with the utmost respect. They are then shown performing on stage with three female dancers. Everyone should know that a video like this in a man's world shows each member individually enticing their women from velvet ropes outside a club, the bedroom to the bathroom when the woman works in the bathtub.
